HUA WEI OptiX PTN 900 series Services Routers

OptiX PTN 960

The PTN 900 series, with the case-shaped design, are 5G-oriented access-layer products that meet the GE/10GE/25GE site-to-site requirements. The series supports 50GE/100GE large-capacity ports to meet 5G ultra-broadband bearer requirements and low-speed service ports such as E1/STM-1 ports to access government and enterprise integrated services. The product supports SPN 5G bearer features, such as SR-TP, FlexE, and iFIT.

The OptiX PTN 960 is new generation access equipment developed by Hua wei for packet-based mobile backhaul network.

The OptiX PTN 960 has the following features:
★ It adopts the packet transport technology to meet the increasing requirements on bandwidth and the demanding requirements on the flexibility of the bandwidth scheduling.
★ It adopts the pseudo wire emulation edge to edge (PWE3) technology to carry connection-oriented services.

The OptiX PTN 960 can be placed either on the base station side to access base station services or on the convergence node side to converge services. The OptiX PTN 960 can integrate services accessed by other case-shaped PTN equipment and then send the services to the equipment that works at a higher layer.
